This video is available in French only.
Every day in Quebec, thousands of caregivers support someone living with a mental health disorder. They listen, encourage, reassure and look for solutions, often on their own and without knowing that they, too, deserve support.
For this 33rd edition of the awareness campaign, CAP santé mentale, which is celebrating 40 years of commitment to caregivers, invites everyone to develop a new reflex: recognize your needs, ask for support earlier and find the right resource at the right time.
Because taking care of yourself helps you continue supporting your loved one, asking for support early is an act of prevention—not just a response to a crisis situation.
A new entry point: 1 844 Pour moi (768-7664)
At the other end of the line, someone is there to listen without judgment, help you see things more clearly and guide you toward the resour
ce that best suits your situation. You can also visit CAPsantementale.ca.
No one should have to provide support alone.
