methods, allowing for equal relationships between them, their loved one and caregivers.<\/p>\n<p>Please join us in signing this statement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment to Improving Mental Health Practices<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am committed to the concept of recovery, which is based on hope, self-determination and shared responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>I am committed to ensuring that family members and friends are respected in their role as assistants, which involves setting boundaries, sharing information and being involved in decisions that concern them.<\/li>\n<li>I am committed to promoting efficient communication based on partnership between the person with mental illness, their family members and the care team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I am committed to being an agent for
